About Paul
Paul worked for over 30 years in the British university sector teaching Fine Art painting techniques to under, and post-graduate students.

About Elspeth
Elspeth, a horticulturalist and garden designer, designs landscapes which have enhancing biodiversity at their core.
Now working part-time, this gives her more opportunity to nurture her own wild garden of native meadow and woodland, grow her own food and pursue hobbies such as photography.
Our lives are now primarily guided by our desire to focus on nature, and we try to live as sustainably as we can. Our one acre of land is a wild, messy mixed habitat there for the benefit of birds, mammals, amphibians and insects.
We love exploring our local area, getting to know the well-known highlights as well as uncovering secret gems. County Leitrim is the least populated county in Ireland and possibly, the least known about. It sits modestly between the counties of Sligo, Cavan, Fermanagh and Donegal, offering an authentic version of Irish life today.
We’ll share with you our favourite places so that you too can fall in love with this little corner of Ireland.
