The Legend

Our commitment to biodiversity

Our land is devoted to protecting natural habitat, with traditional Irish meadow  and native trees providing shelter and food for wildlife. An ancient spring well, once used by local inhabitants, now provides a source of water for insects, amphibians and mammals.

Our commitment to sustainability

Our bank of solar panels provide all the clean energy requirements for Black Pig Lodge. We recycle all glass, plastics and tins, and source eco-friendly products from local suppliers.

Our commitment to organic methods

We never use pesticides or other artificial chemicals on our land and grow food in our polytunnel using organic methods.
